Razer commissioned Carbon to create the product launch film for Project Motoko, a next-generation wearable AI concept built into a headphone form factor. The film introduced a new vision for AI-powered hardware: intelligent, context-aware and seamlessly integrated into everyday life.

The creative challenge was to demonstrate Motoko’s potential across a diverse range of real-world scenarios, from productivity and lifestyle to social interactions and gaming, while positioning Razer at the forefront of AI-native hardware innovation.

Carbon delivered the project end-to-end, spanning creative ideation, narrative development, live-action production, CGI and post-production. Rather than presenting the technology as a distant vision of the future, we grounded the story in familiar, relatable moments to demonstrate how Motoko could become an intuitive part of everyday life.

From summarising content on the move and providing guidance for DIY projects, to assisting with cooking, correcting workout form, recognising social cues and delivering real-time tactical gaming support, each scenario demonstrated a different dimension of Motoko’s capabilities.

By positioning Motoko as a silent, always-present companion, the film presents wearable AI not as futuristic technology, but as a natural extension of how people see, think, interact and move through the world, bringing Razer’s vision of AI-native hardware to life through cinematic storytelling and technology-led creativity.
