THE BRIEF

Over the past five years, The Peninsula has partnered with Carbon to develop a compelling global campaign that unites the brand’s properties under a universal theme, highlighting the dedication of hotel staff in the domestic market. Our goal was to create emotive, raw, and captivating content that resonates on a human level. 

OUR SOLUTION

We maintained the episodic approach by featuring a hero protagonist at the hotel, giving him a monologue that reflects his unique backstory and relationship with the host city. In 2025, the Peninsula team invited us back to London, where a property had not yet been established during our initial shoot. This new phase challenged us to differentiate the London video while ensuring that 50% of the content focused on the London property itself, both in the video and portrait photography. To accomplish this, we shifted our emphasis to the protagonist’s role at the hotel rather than his background story. Through this collaboration, we continue to evolve the narrative, showcasing the unique essence of each location while preserving the emotional depth that defines The Peninsula brand.
